Welcome at our Church in Warszawa, Poland!
 
Our church is a part of the Christian Fellowship Ministries, a fellowship of about 1.600 churches worldwide in more than 90 countries. This first church in Poland was planted in 1989 in Poland out of the USA. Pastor Jan-Willem van Dam and his family took over the church in February 2009 from Ed & Faye Brooke, who went back to the United States. They are coming from the Netherlands and being supported by the churches out of Arnhem and Zwolle (Holland).
 
The purpose of this website is to help you to get an understanding about the life changing power of Jesus Christ, to give you more information about our activities and what we believe.  We hope to meet you soon at one of our services!

My name is Harry van der Woude, I grew up in a family in which everything seemed to go very well. I had good perspective for the future, cause I was very good in several sports. Till my father got more and more addicted to alcohol. At home the tension and quarrels became worse. As child I had many nightmares. A few time my father tried to get rid of alcohol by rehabilitation programs and medicines, but this didn’t help at all. The strain and misery became even worse so I went to the street life with my friends to search for some pleasure. I ended in a youth gang and get involved in all kinds of criminal activity, such as drugs, dealing, fights and violence. Finally I went out of house because I also got fights with my father. After several times being sentenced and imprisoned I decided to change my life. I went back to school but was kicked off after 1,5 year. I didn’t fit in the system, so  I went back in the world of drugs and criminality. In the meantime I got involved in kickboxing, got entangled in the occult and got contacts with a criminal organization, for which I should do the payment settlements. So my life went down more and more. I became a person full of hatred and bitterness, who didn’t trust anyone anymore. Surely not the authorities. Everybody was in my eyes hypocrite. During this period I heard that some Gospel people told me that Jesus is still the same Jesus of the Bible and that He is doing still the same things, that you can call to Him and acknowledge that you need His help and forgiveness. I had no trust anymore in the help and solutions of this world, so I called on the name of Jesus for help and to change my life. I am now 25 years ahead and I still thank Him that He changed my life. In the meantime I have seen Him doing so many things in my life and that of others. I am myself now a preacher of the Gospel. What a grace and what a good God He is.
